From Our Kitchen

We added the kitchen in 2009 to our market in Half Acre so that we could bake our own pies, cookies, and breads on the premises. Several of our recipes are Kelli’s family favorites from the strawberry rhubarb pie to the soft molasses cookies and spicy pumpkin bread. We use fresh ingredients, especially the various fruits we have in season, and the offering is always changing. You can order ahead or just stop by and smell what we have cooking!

Pies: Rhubarb, Strawberry Rhubarb, Blueberry, Red Raspberry, Cherry, Peach, Summer Medleys, Apple, Apple Crumb, Pumpkin

Cookies: Soft Molasses, Chocolate Chunk, Harvest (oatmeal, coconut, raisin, cranberry, nuts)

Fruit Shakes: Made from fresh fruit in season these delicious shakes are a simple blend of fruit, vanilla yogurt, ice cream and crushed ice…try one for lunch or an afternoon treat!

Jams: We make a variety of fruit jams throughout the summer and also purchase private labeled quality products to fill our shelves with preserves, salsas, salad dressings, pickles and more.
